First Aid Training

According to the HSE (Health and Safety Executive), “first aid provision must be adequate and appropriate in the circumstances”. This means the needs assessment you have conducted will tell you the level of first aid training your staff will need.

At COVIC Training Solutions we offer the 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work, 3-day First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid courses conveniently delivered at your workplace. All equipment is provided.

Emergency First Aid at Work

The Emergency First Aid at Work is a 1-day course designed for low risk working environments. It equips your staff with the skills to administer emergency first aid to someone who becomes ill or suffers an injury while at work. Those who successfully complete the course will become a qualified Emergency First Aider and will be issued an Emergency First Aid at Work certificate which is valid for 3 years.

First Aid at Work

The First Aid at Work is a 3-day course designed to equip your staff with the skills to recognise and administer emergency first aid in more serious scenarios and hand over to the emergency services. Those who successfully complete the course will become a qualified First Aider and will be issued a First Aid at Work certificate which is valid for 3 years.

Paediatric First Aid

The Paediatric First Aid is a 2-day course designed for those looking after children and infants. This course satisfies the guidelines and criteria as laid down by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Ofsted. The course equips your staff with the skills to administer first aid to a sick, injured or ill infant and/or child until handover to the emergency services. Those who successfully complete the course will become a qualified Paediatric First Aider and will be issued a Paediatric First Aid certificate which is valid for 3 years.
